Our roots go back to an on-going project conducted by researchers at the University of Dayton (Ohio). Their project involves evaluating the efficacy of character education programs in schools throughout Ohio and beyond. Ultimately, they're interested in what helps kids turn out to be good citizens.
When they decided to make the move from paper forms to the web, they contacted One-pla.net to do the web programming and design.
With the researchers providing the content and performance specifications for their survey, One-pla.net got to work on the technology to take their surveys into the computer labs of the client schools.
A little forethought, they say, can be a good thing. One-pla.net's solution for the researchers was powerful, but more importantly, it was general enough to easily be adapted as a robust, general "survey server" based entirely on the web.
